This is a leaf. It was in my front yard. I took the picture with a wide-angle converter with the wide-angle part removed and just the macro focuser left. Gave me a weird trippy effect as illustrated below, thusly.

I used half of a lens to take this picture. Aren't I cool? ...Oh...

On the trip I took to Zion National Park this summer, I got a lot of photos. Most of them sucked. This is one of the exceptions, I think. It’s not as clear as I would have liked, but it’s not too shabby a’tall.
